DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Acquire new accounts within area of responsibility through the conduct of sales activities, including sales calls, sales presentations, sending of email blastas and proposals and participation in any travel events.
Provide assistance to existing and new clients for any concern relevant to their travel booking and other related concerns
Liaise with other departments to ensure timely delivery of invoices
Closely monitor and coordinate with clients on the payment based on invoices sent.
Send monthly report to Head Office on a monthly basis or as required by Management.
Source suppliers within area of responsibility, create packages and other travel products in coordination with Sales Supervisor.
Manage other related administrative work in the branch like permits, licenses, sublease and other documentation that may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
At least 1-4 Year(s) of working experience specialized in Sales and Reservation is required for this position specifically in the TRAVEL AGENCY or similar environment

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the acquisition of new accounts using different channels like company website, facebook, walk-in, etc.
Prepares quotations and covers requests for tours, cruises, hotels, transfer and travel insurances for both domestic and international transactions.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Develop untapped markets in Provincial Luzon for OMI’s product lines particularly in Food Service
Compiles list of prospective customers for use sales leads, based on information from business directories and other resources
Regularly contacts customer base by phone and/or traveling through assigned territory to solicit orders
Contact prospective customers to solicit orders, and establish new relatiosnship
Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, amd emphasize salable features
Collection, order guide maintenance, and order entry for all assignd territory street accounts
Qualifications:
Graduate of a 4-year business course; Preferably Marketing or Management Major, Food & Beverage Servicesor equivalent.
With at least 1-2 years selling experience in food trading industry
Generate sales for the company
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Experience in food service is required for this position.
Must possess excellent oral and written English communication skills;

Prepare report by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information.

Proper filing of sales documents - hard copy and/or electronics.
Secure documentation requirements such as accomplishment report, collection report, sales report & other report as required by Sales Head and/or Top Management.
Regularly update buying rates with shipping line/ airlines.
Establish good relationship with suppliers (airlines, shipping lines, consolidators and others)
Monitor the shipments with operations and agents and keeping the clients informed of their current shipping status.
Monitor and assist collection of accounts receivables.
Maintain close coordination with operations/ accounting departments on the developments of all sales generated accounts including sales quota and collections.
Adhere to all relevant ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
Assist Sales Head in communicating with TM and other departments the needs, concerns and developments of Sales Dept.
Assist Sales Head in handling correspondence with international agents, local suppliers, customers and MBT group.
Perform other related functions that may be assigned by either Sales Head or TM as deemed necessary.
